Testimonials

"Rock n Roll High is an extremely unique and unrivaled music resource in the greater South West region .  The performance opportunities provided through the school give students real life playing experience and a taste of the possibilities in the music industry.  Most importantly the school is a social network for people with like mined interests and aspirations.  Whether that be to play music professionally, to find a band to jam with, to play purely for self enjoyment, or as introduction for children of young age, it has suitable tuition for all levels.  The passion for music, often lacking in many institutions, is what sets Rock n Roll High apart and makes it such a positive musical environment for everyone involved." Konrad Paszkudski. ( after Konrad left RRH for WAAPA he was discovered by James Morrison, and between 2008/09 Konrad played piano in the James Morrison  band as ell as concerts/festivals under his own name with the Konrad Paszkudski Trio and quartet.

Louise, Ian and the team at Rock n Roll High were more like a family than music teachers. I guess this is probably due to the fact that I had lessons with just about everyone in the school, but also because they probably knew me as well as my family did.  During my time as a freelance musician I have realized how much Louise, in particular, had encouraged and nurtured my talents.  My first live performances singing, playing guitar and drum kit to an audience were at the Rock n Roll High end of term gigs, and although I may have forgotten all the words at my first gig, with Louise's support was excited for my next performance.  It is because of Louise and everyone at Rock n Roll High that I am the confident and musically versatile performer I am today.  I have studied with some of Australia's and the worlds best teachers but to have had mentors like Louise and Ian offer me such wonderful opportunities at such a young age were invaluable experiences that would be instrumental in the development of my musical career.  I thank Louise and Ian and the family at Rock n Roll high from the bottom of my heart. Asha Henfry WAAPA Graduate and professional musician.

Peter Chorlton is an excellent guitar teacher.  He has such a broad knowledge of music and a lot of experience as a working musician.  I thoroughly enjoyed my three years of guitar lessons with him and he inspired me to keep playing music.
